By using this Web site you agree to the following terms and condtions
- When you register with the MIRO site (create an account) you will be asked for private
information (your e-mail address).
- This site uses cookies and other technologies to help assure secure transactons.
- Any personal information you provide is strictly confidential and is not available to
any person, or any organization, outside of the MIRO organization.
- Any personal information that you may have provided, and wish have removed
(other than your e-mail address which is necessary for the membership system),
will be deleted from the database immediately upon your request.
- In providing your e-mail address during registration, you will receive periodic
e-mail messages from the MIRO organization. If you do not wish to receive e-mail from
MIRO, or wish to terminate your MIRO account, you may do so by sending an e-mail request
to the MIRO administrator using the form on the Contact Information page.
Security Information
The data entry pages in this Web site are protected by public-key encryption.
Whenever you see this
icon next to a submit button, the data being sent is protected by encryption.
Public-key encryption consists of two keys, a public key that is used to encrypt the
data, and a private key for decrypting the data. The private key is accessible only
by the Web server and without it the transmitted data cannot be deciphered.
The encyption scheme used is RSA with 1024 bit keys. The data is encrypted on the client
using JavaScript, with a public key that is provided by the Web server.
The encrypted data is then transmitted to the Web server, where it is decrypted using the
private key and then processed.
