Security Information

The data entry pages in this Web site are protected by public-key encryption. Whenever you see this icon next to a submit button, the data being sent is protected by encryption. Public-key encryption consists of two keys, a public key that is used to encrypt the data, and a private key for decrypting the data. The private key is accessible only by the Web server and without it the transmitted data cannot be deciphered. The encyption scheme used is RSA with 1024 bit keys. The data is encrypted on the client using JavaScript, with a public key that is provided by the Web server. The encrypted data is then transmitted to the Web server, where it is decrypted using the private key and then processed. Further information about public-key cryptography can be found in this article.

Disclaimer

While our data encryption provides a high level of protection, no data transfer over a public communications network is 100% safe. The MIRO group and Dave Cook Consulting, LLC provide good faith encryption of personal information and disclaim any liability for consequential damages due to inadvertent exposure of any information on the Web site.
